As a Research Chemist, you will translate gaps and needs into product design criteria and specifications, develop technical domain expertise regarding competitive products, intellectual property, and literature, and promote product development based on sound scientific and statistical methodologies. You will manage project deliverables, including project management, capturing updates, meeting internally and externally, and reporting. Additionally, you will oversee and mentor junior team members to work on design, including formulation and testing.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, or Polymer Science and Engineering. The candidate should have the ability to use chemistry fundamentals to design sealants and adhesives that meet customer requirements and must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
