About this role

As an Aerospace Sales Director, you will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies with a global perspective aligned with the customer to achieve business objectives for growth, profitability, and market share expansion. You will utilize sales enablement tools and initiatives such as ClientLink to optimize pipeline management, contract negotiation, and customer relationship management. Collaboration with category management to align product technologies and sales efforts with aerospace market demands and customer needs is essential. You will drive adoption of best practices in sales processes, pipeline development, and customer service excellence. Additionally, you will partner closely with CMS leadership, Production, EHS, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of sales activities with operational capabilities and customer delivery requirements. Leading or participating in strategic planning sessions to forecast future sales needs, capacity planning, and resource allocation is also part of the role.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of proven sales leadership experience, preferably within aerospace coatings, aerospace materials, or related industrial sectors, with a strong consultative selling approach is required. Understanding of aerospace production processes, lean manufacturing principles, and regulatory requirements related to packaging and transportation is essential.
