About this role

The Robot/CNC Programmer analyzes welding processes to identify opportunities for improvement, implements enhancements to optimize the overall welding process, maintains accurate records of robot programs, collaborates with engineering and production teams, provides training to production staff, and ensures safe working conditions and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Candidates should have a 2-year Associate's Degree in Robotics, Automation, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A basic understanding of welding processes and procedures is required. Preferred qualifications include a 4-year technical degree in Engineering or Automation, familiarity with robotic welding software and control systems, proven experience as a Welding Robot Programmer in a manufacturing setting, proficiency in programming and operating robotic welding systems, strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and quality control standards, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others and provide technical support.
