About this role

The Product Support Specialist provides technical operating and service advice to customers using Genie brand equipment, identifies and resolves customer concerns, assists with service training, collaborates with engineering for product improvement, and requires up to 70% travel within Florida.

Requirements

Candidates should be located in Florida, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of related experience (field service, operations management, product support, shop floor management, OEM support, technical customer support, or similar), strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong computer skills, a valid driving license with a clean driving record, and knowledge of construction equipment. Preferred qualifications include excellent problem-solving skills, a great attitude and high energy, excellent learning and training skills, the ability to work independently or in a team environment, detail orientation with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks despite frequent interruptions, strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement, job knowledge and experience in the AWP industry, and/or related experience in field-based customer product support, hands-on knowledge of Genie product line, proficiency in the use of equipment, tools, and technology needed to troubleshoot and repair AWP products, proficiency in and ability to demonstrate the proper and safe operation of AWP control systems and products.
