Senior Backend Engineer

The Senior Backend Engineer will design and implement features as defined in the product roadmap, review design documents, perform code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ship scalable software solutions. Responsibilities include contributing to the migration of legacy codebase to microservices architecture, improving codebase with clean and efficient code, and advancing monitoring and alerting capabilities of backend modules.

Candidates should have 5+ years of backend software engineering experience, proficiency in Java, Scala, or Kotlin, and experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) using microservices architecture. Expertise in architecture and system design, REST API development, Agile development processes, and strong relational and non-relational database experience are required. A BS degree in Computer Science or related fields is a plus.
