Medical Coder

As a Medical Coder at HISS, you will be tasked with reviewing clinical documents and assigning appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures. Your work will ensure accurate billing and compliance with healthcare regulations. You will collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies and maintain the integrity of patient records, directly impacting the financial health of the organization.

Applicants should have a solid understanding of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Certification through AHIMA or AAPC is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience in medical coding is required. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work under pressure are necessary.
