Health Information Coder

As a Health Information Coder at HISS, you will be responsible for accurately coding medical records to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. This role involves reviewing patient charts, assigning appropriate codes, and collaborating with healthcare providers to resolve discrepancies. Your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of health information management within the organization.

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding systems such as ICD-10 and CPT. A minimum of two years of experience in medical coding is preferred. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently are essential. Certification through AHIMA or AAPC is highly desirable.
