About this role

The Patient Safety Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of patients who are at risk of harming themselves or others. This includes continuous observation of patients, reporting any changes in behavior or condition to nursing staff, and assisting with activities of daily living as needed. The role also involves maintaining a safe and clean environment, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, and participating in patient care rounds as directed.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
