Lead Transporter

The Lead Transporter is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the transport department, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of patients, equipment, and supplies within the hospital. This includes supervising a team of transporters, coordinating transport schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The Lead Transporter also assists with training new staff, monitors performance, and addresses any issues or concerns related to transport services.

High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a supervisory role within a hospital or healthcare setting preferred. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
