In this role, you will ensure compliance with all local regulations, permits, and company safety/environmental policies. Responsibilities include participating in risk assessments, behavior-based safety observations, and addressing near-miss incidents; promoting and modeling safe behavior within the team and across departments; troubleshooting, maintaining, and calibrating level and pressure instrumentation and PLC-based control systems; understanding and modifying PLC logic for control system functionality; performing conduit installation, wiring, and panel work for new and existing systems; using tubing benders and other specialized tools to support instrumentation installations; supporting and guiding maintenance team members by sharing advanced technical knowledge; writing and maintaining standardized maintenance and troubleshooting procedures; creating and maintaining up-to-date technical plant documentation; participating in and serving as a backup lead for daily performance dialogue meetings; providing feedback on maintenance planning and reliability issues to improve future execution; and collaborating across departments to support cross-functional projects and initiatives.
A high school diploma or GED is required. Candidates should have six or more years of industrial maintenance experience. A licensed electrician or equivalent experience is strongly preferred. Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical and instrumentation systems is essential. Familiarity with PLC logic and making functional modifications is necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and SAP is required. Demonstrated experience in technical writing and procedure development is expected. Strong leadership and team guidance skills are necessary. Ability to bend tubing, run conduit, and perform precision instrumentation work is required.
