Lead Data Scientist

As a Lead Data Scientist at Zoro, you will apply domain and industry knowledge to solve complex data science projects, developing advanced machine learning models, and driving data-driven decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, design experiments, and implement data solutions that deliver measurable business impact. Your role will involve mentoring junior data scientists and contributing to the development of data science best practices within the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, with experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and experience with data analysis tools and frameworks is essential. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders are required. A Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in e-commerce or B2B data science is a plus.
