Digital Artist

As a Digital Artist at Wizards of the Coast, you will manage extensive card sets through all phases of creative production, ensuring project timelines are met and file organization is maintained. Your role involves refining and modifying illustrative artwork for print and digital media, including tasks such as retouching, color correction, adjusting ink density, resizing, cropping, generating clipping paths, and hand-brushing spot plate masks. Additionally, you will build intricate alpha masks and selections for premium print plates, assembling final artwork in card frames with a keen eye for composition and visual hierarchy. You will also post proofs for approval and revision through partner teams, overseeing your files through the production pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in digital art tools, particularly Photoshop, with experience in managing complex creative projects. A keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of visual composition are essential. Familiarity with print production processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are also important. A passion for gaming and familiarity with Wizards of the Coast's products will be advantageous.
