As a Sales Development Representative at UtilityAPI, you'll generate qualified opportunities for Sales Directors by conducting research and outreach to identify decision-makers and new target accounts. You'll follow up on inbound leads, set appointments, and conduct demos as necessary. Your role will involve prospecting and creating leads through targeted searches, developing foundational knowledge of the UtilityAPI platform to qualify prospects, enriching data in our CRM, and maintaining the quality of required fields for deeper marketing analytics. You'll collaborate with multiple team members and manage cross-team resources, providing regular reports on sales activities and results to management. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.
We're seeking candidates with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing sales strategies. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a love for engaging with people. Comfort in working with a remote team is important, as is the ability to communicate and understand high-level software and program capabilities to identify mutual value. Superior organizational skills and attention to detail are required. A salary range of $75-85k is offered, depending on experience and location, along with stock options and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401k plan.
