Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant at UPMC will provide clinical support to physicians and other healthcare providers. Duties include taking patient histories, preparing patients for examinations, assisting during procedures, and performing basic laboratory tests.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with completion of a medical assistant program preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
