As a Front Desk Agent at Thompson Nashville, you will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for greeting and registering them, providing prompt and courteous service, and closing out guest accounts upon completion of stay. Your role is crucial in ensuring a positive guest experience by managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently, addressing guest inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise during their stay. You will work closely with other departments to coordinate guest services and maintain the hotel's high standards of quality.

Requirements

Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information, and resolve conflicts. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; prior hospitality experience is preferred. The ability to stand and move throughout the front office area for extended periods is essential. Familiarity with computer systems and basic mathematical skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
