NewSpace Africa Conference Content Creator

Space in Africa is seeking a creative and talented Content Creator on a temporary contract to develop engaging content, videos, GIFs, social media posts, and various marketing materials promoting the NewSpace Africa Conference 2025. The role involves creating promotional videos, graphics, and written content highlighting conference themes, speakers, events, and sponsorship opportunities. The successful candidate will collaborate with the marketing and communications team to align content with overall promotional strategies and monitor content performance to maximize reach and engagement. The contract is for three months (February – April 2025) with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a Content Creator, Social Media Manager, or in a similar role, with strong skills in video editing, graphic design, and copywriting. Proficiency in design and video editing tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Final Cut Pro is required. An excellent understanding of social media platforms and trends, along with creative thinking and attention to detail, is essential. Excellent writing and editing skills in English are necessary, and the ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects is crucial. A passion for the African space industry or tech ecosystems is a plus.
