Backend Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at MKOBO Microfinance Bank, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that support our financial services. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in backend development with proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, particularly in building and maintaining scalable backend systems, is required. Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, as well as experience with RESTful API design, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code are crucial. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
