Provide culturally attuned virtual care in Spanish and English via phone, video call, or chat to assess patient needs, diagnose conditions, and provide appropriate clinical guidance or treatment. Collaborate closely with Latin American healthcare providers who serve as health coaches to US patients, as well as a mental health team. Proactive communication with patient engagement team to ensure patients attend appointments and receive the care needed. Maintain average patient satisfaction ratings in line with MiSalud clinical team averages at 97%+ by delivering patient care with exemplary bedside manner and a focus on high quality, outcome-driven care. Lead with an efficient and adaptable attitude in a fast-growing company, keeping up with training without sacrificing quality.
Active licensure as a MD, holding board certification in CA and at least two of the following states: AZ, FL, TX, WA, OR, NY, OH, UT. 3+ years experience in general medicine. Spanish proficiency at a C1 or C2 level, to offer bilingual consultations in Spanish and English. Experience utilizing digital health (telehealth) platforms and digital tools for remote work, such as Slack. Experience creating clinical programs and content (nice to have). Experience in public health and/or addressing population health disparities. Proactive and communicative team approach. Empathy to work with patients who are often more concerned about basic life necessities than their health.
