In this role, you will develop satellite operations procedures, products, and processes based on manufacturer’s documentation and operations protocol. You will define, develop, test, and execute command plans to implement spacecraft configuration changes, and develop software tools, methods, and procedures to improve testing and measurement capabilities. Additionally, you will perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating periodic basis, supporting outside of normal business hours during the week and on weekends.
A Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required, preferably in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science. At least one year of recent, relevant professional experience in Satellite Engineering/Operations is necessary. The ability to apply engineering principles and practices across spacecraft applications of engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, thermal logic, and computer application is essential.
