Full Time Lifeguard

As a Full Time Lifeguard at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons at our aquatic facilities. Your duties will include actively monitoring pool activities to anticipate, recognize, and respond to aquatic emergencies, maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas, enforcing pool rules and safety regulations, and overseeing pool equipment and supplies. Additionally, you will participate in lifeguard in-service training and perform other related duties as assigned. This role is essential in providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess a minimum of one year of related experience. Lifeguards will be enrolled in the Ellis Lifeguard class immediately upon hire and must pass the class to work. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 15 pounds, and perform swimming and rescue techniques. A good sense of vision is required, and the position is subject to various environmental conditions, including extreme heat and both indoor and outdoor settings.
