Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at GitLab, you will develop features and improvements to the GitLab product in a secure, well-tested, and performant manner. Collaborating with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering, you'll advocate for enhancements to product quality, security, and performance. Your role will involve significant professional experience with Ruby on Rails or other relevant languages, and proficiency in English for effective communication in a remote and asynchronous work environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in Ruby on Rails, Go, or Git. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a highly agile, iterative software development process. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline is required.
