As a Field Service Engineer II, you will perform timely and accurate preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare systems in the Birmingham area. Your role ensures optimal delivery of healthcare services to patients by maintaining and servicing imaging equipment. You will also build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues to drive customer satisfaction. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and hospital protocols is essential to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Candidates should possess an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, military education, or a High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience servicing electrical equipment. A minimum of 2 years of experience servicing imaging equipment is required. A valid Driver's License and legal authorization to work in the U.S. are mandatory. Preferred qualifications include the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs unassisted, and the capacity to be available after-hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
