About this role

As the Regional Sales Lead for Eastern Africa, you will spearhead Flutterwave's expansion efforts in the region. Your role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and driving revenue growth. You will collaborate closely with the commercial team to develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the unique needs of the Eastern African market. Your impact will be measured by the successful acquisition of new clients, the growth of existing accounts, and the overall market penetration of Flutterwave's services in the region.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the fintech or payments industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of the Eastern African market dynamics and customer behavior is essential. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must, along with the ability to lead and motivate a team. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Swahili is an advantage.
