Optical Communication Engineer

Design and build satellite-based optical communications laser terminals, including optical inter-satellite links and direct-to-earth links, and conduct performance and environmental verification testing for space.

BS in Physics, Optical Engineering, or related field; minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, building, and characterizing optical systems; proficiency in optical alignment methods; knowledge of laser theory and fiber laser systems.
