Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator

As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and directing occupational safety compliance, environmental compliance, workers’ compensation compliance, training programs, and occupational health issues affecting manufacturing associates at the plant level. This role involves developing and implementing site-specific policies and procedures, conducting safety and health audits, providing training to associates and team leaders, leading accident investigation teams, and managing the plant's workers' compensation program. Your efforts will directly impact the safety culture and regulatory compliance of the facility.

Candidates should possess a High School Diploma with 5-7 years of industrial safety experience. A degree in Occupational Safety or a related field is preferred, with 3-5 years of industrial safety experience or a combination of education and experience. Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations applicable to General Industry/Construction, industrial hygiene, labor relations, loss control, and basic engineering principles is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills, the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting workload requirements, and proficiency in OSHA’s Recordkeeping Standard 29CFR1904 are required.
