As an Arthroplasty Sales Manager, you will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives in the Miami territory by representing Southern Edge Orthopaedics, an independent agency authorized to sell Arthrex products. Your role involves working closely with surgeons and healthcare professionals, building and maintaining strong business relationships, and developing and implementing sales strategies. You will communicate with current and new customer accounts regarding product updates, changes to the product portfolio, and educational programs. Additionally, you will identify the needs of new prospects and develop appropriate responses, cross-sell additional products, and manage new product introductions. A strong working knowledge of Arthrex’s core products and procedures is essential. This position requires up to 20% overnight travel annually.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of shoulder arthroplasty sales experience. A deep understanding of orthopedic procedures and terminology, particularly as it relates to Arthrex, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is required, and the ability to learn a high level of technical information, anatomy, and surgical procedures is essential. The role demands excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to remain calm and professional in an operating room environment. Vendor credentialing for the assigned territory is necessary.
