Safety Officer

Department: Health, Safety, and Environment

The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing and enforcing safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of personnel and the facility. This includes conducting safety inspections, training staff on safety procedures, and overseeing emergency response plans.

Bachelor's degree or HND in Safety Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as NEBOSH or HSE Level 3 are required. 2 to 4 years of post-NYSC experience in industrial safety, preferably in the oil and gas sector. Strong analytical skills and knowledge of safety regulations are essential.
